Dan Tamarkin here from Tamarkin Camera in downtown Chicago to tell you a little bit about our custom-made camera straps. These straps are made from Horween Leather, and Horween is North America's oldest continuously operating tannery and they're located right here in Chicago. They make some beautiful leather products, including one that's extremely strong and supple which we've used for our neck straps and our wrist straps.
These straps are hand stitched right here in Chicago doubled over, double stitched, and cemented they're extremely strong. Wrist strap in brown or black. You can choose for neck straps: brown leather with white stitching, black on black, black with red. My favorite, black with orange, and also for a limited time the Crazy Horse variation. This is a very limited and very supple leather that Horween has been using for their straps for a few months, but they're not making it anymore so this is a limited edition.
These neck straps are 95 dollars each shipped, or tax included if you come and visit us here in the showroom. They're extremely handsome, functional, and strong. They won't abrade the camera. Extremely, extremely durable and strong straps I've been using mine for years and you can see how they look with the silver chrome cameras or the Crazy Horse on a black enamel camera the very very handsome straps take your pick. We're always happy to tell you more if you give us a call at (800) BUY-LEICA or on the world wide web at Tamarkin.com.
